Melissa Kocan

Melissa is the founder of EVAN'S EMBRACE, and Kara Davies' friend from Jackson High School in Mill Creek, WA. Her heart was greatly touched by Evan's birth and death.  As a result, it was her desire to honor him, which is why EVAN'S EMBRACE was started.

Vicki Gillette

Vicki is Kara Davies' mom and Evan's Gramma, who gladly accepted Melissa's invite to co-found EVAN'S EMBRACE. Vicki directs and manages the non-profit, and is seamstress of all the Angel Outfits.  When she knew Evan wasn't going to make it, Vicki pleaded with God not to waste her pain.  Little did she imagine how God would turn that pain around to help so many others.

Evan Riley Davies

Kara is mom to Julia and Evan.....

Glenn Davies

Glenn is daddy to Evan and Julia.  His ultimate goal in life is to be the best husband and father he can be.   Everything else is a bonus. As his mother-in-law, I truly say he has exemplified this to the fullest, in the most heartbreaking way ever.  Our prayer is that he and Kara will someday get to fulfill their dream of a baby to hold, love, nourish, and bring up in the ways of the Lord.
